Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have such severe bilateral hip pain that I can barely move in the mornings. It remains during the day but not as intense. Touching my hips fees like they are bruised. The pain gets so great I have nausea and it wakes me up at night. I have taken pain pills and muscle relaxers and it has been worsening instead of improving. Will this ever stop. Driving in the car long hours is quite uncomfortable as well. I can walk and enjoy walking, but I pay for it later. It started with the right side first. I have had injections that relieve the pain for a couple hours. Is his something I am going to live with. Can it get better? I don t know what is causing it or what it is.
Hello Dear. You need to consult an orthopedic surgeon and get thorough evaluation as to what is the cause of your hip joint pain. It can be osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis. Permanent solution may be hip replacement surgery where prosthesis will be put.
